IQ Systems: Get the Most Value from Trade Show Leads

(PRWEB) June 29, 2006 -- IQ Systems has developed a solution to managing large volumes of sales leads and is now being used by 97 companies and over 3,700 salespersons. Since response time is paramount in pursuing fresh leads acquired at trade shows, IQ Systems functions to help facilitate the disbursement of information to sales representatives in the field so that they may pursue leads quickly.

“  Our clients’ needs are our best source for new ideas and we constantly solicit their input.
At trade shows, clients can take their laptop computer and one of IQ’s card scanners to initiate the process of collecting information. The scanner inputs information from magnetic cards, barcoded cards and business cards, and imports all the data on a prospect into a laptop. When the computer is connected to the internet, the day’s sales leads are immediately uploaded to IQ’s servers, where sales territories for sales representatives, dealers, and distributors have been previously entered. Any salesperson with a lead for their territory is sent an email message alerting them of it. Representatives can then download their lead information from IQ into a number of programs, including Act, Goldmine, Excel, Access, Outlook, Sales Logix, and Sales Force.com.

In addition to organizing information for sales representatives, IQ Systems’ personnel complete literature fulfillment as instructed by each client that is input into the system. Each prospect can receive a personalized letter thanking them for their interest and informing them of their local salesperson’s name, telephone, email, and any additional information that is designated. IQ also sends each prospect an email with contact information, and also asks several qualifying questions such as: would you like a salesperson to contact you? Responses are immediately forwarded to the appropriate salesperson.

Sales representatives can report follow-up results directly into IQ’s servers on a custom follow-up report form. The entire system is completely Web-based and available to the sales force and management 24/7.

Trade show leads can cost from $300-600 each when all related costs for travel and hotel are calculated. IQ Systems charges $1.50 per lead, plus postage, for their entire lead management method. Management summary reports are provided at no additional charge. Serving clients since 1983, we have been able to maintain our pricing at the same $1.50 per lead by embracing technology and increasing our volume.

Doug Schieffer, IQ’s IT manager says, “We continue to invest in new technology and procedures to improve service to our clients. Our clients’ needs are our best source for new ideas and we constantly solicit their input. Seeing our clients succeed gives us great satisfaction.”
