GOGLOBAL34 Go-Global License Error Troubleshooting Steps
Problem:
I am receiving a licensing error when trying to start the Go-Global License Manager or when trying to connect to Go-Global. What will you need to troubleshoot this problem?
Solution:
First, please verify that the license.lic file has been saved to your "C:\Program Files\Graphon\Go-Global Server\Programs" (by default) directory. Most license problems are caused by the license file not being saved to the wrong directory.
If this does not resolve the problem, we will need the APS log, the license.lic and the license.log files, and the output of an "ipconfig /all" command from the command line in Windows. The APS log is located in the "C:\Program Files\Graphon\Go-Global Server\Log" folder (by default). License.lic and license.log are located in the ''C:\Program Files\Graphon\Go-Global Server\Programs" (by default) folder.
If the above information does not help us resolve the problem, we will need data from a program called "lmtools," which is attached. When you run 'lmtools', we will need the following:
(1) System Settings tab: There is a selection there to Save HostID info to a file.
(2) Server Status tab: Click on the Status Enquiry button, and then copy/paste the info to a file.
(3) Server Diagnostics tab: Click on the Perform Diagnostics button, and then copy/paste the info to a file.
Send all 3 files to us at support@resource-dynamics.com.
