GEN_CONNEC Connectivity Install Quick Update
Problem:
Getting a message box:
Version xxxxx of the Tele-Support HelpDesk connectivity is available (Your version is xxx). Would you like to update this workstation to the newest version? When I click "Yes" nothing happens.
Cause:
Because of Window updates, there is a hot fix that is preventing this particular executable from running across the network.
Resolution:
Manually copy/paste the Connectivity_Install.exe which is located in the \server or \installers directory of Helpdesk, onto the client workstation. You can place this file onto the client desktop or into the HDConnect folder (by default C:\Program Files\Common Files\Resource Dynamics\HDConnect). Then run. This will update the client workstation automatically.
