TT_TIP0005 ACTDNHLPR.dll not found
Tech Tip: Starting HelpDesk returns message that the ACTDNHLPR.dll file not found.
First, please verify that you have the required .NET 1.1 and .NET 2 framework installed locally.
This error will display if the 'Common Files' directory under C:\Program Files\ being named in a non English language on the workstation.
If this is the case, to resolve open the C:\\Program Files directory on the workstation and see if there is a directory called 'Common Files'. If there is not, please create one in this location. Be sure that the directly is name exactly 'Common Files' with no deviations in the spelling.
In the C:\Program Files directory, locate the equivalent of the 'common files' directory in the native language of the workstation operating system. Open the directory and locate the sub-folder cared 'Resource Dynamics' Copy this entire folder.
Then paste the 'Resource Dynamics' folder and all the contents into the C:\program files\common files directory.
Once the files have been copied, please try re-starting HelpDesk.
If the 'common files' directory exist, please open and the Resource Dynamics folder and be sure you have the ACTDNHLRP.dll file. If not, run the TSHD4Connectivity_install.exe (located in the \server\installers folder)
