Configuation access on Vista machine Vista Tech Tip: Running HelpDesk client on a Vista workstation and unable to access (open) configuration from the Options menu. User is logged onto the workstation as ADMIN and has Supervisor rights. Can access the configuration outside of the client (ie My Computer) Check the shortcut properties. Compatibility > Run this program in compatiblity mode for Windows XP. Then clear this should resolve your issue. Applicable to HelpDesk versions to Vista: 3.2.1 +
