Tech Tip:

When staring a client, and returns a message, License Service Not Found.

Please be sure that port 4480 is open on the server where the license service is running.  This can be verified  in the Windows Firewall setting.  Also, open the services to and verify the service is running.

If you have internal firewall's and router's, zone alarms, virus scan, etc., please be sure that port 4480 is open internally.

To check if the workstation can get to the license service, open My Computer.  In the address bar type

http://servername:4480/dump
