Tech Tip:

Do you need to specify a port other than the default port for Post Office to use for either SMTP or POP3.

This can be done by modifying the port list in the "services" file, which is located in the following location:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\

Note that this change will affect all Windows programs using this file and that the change only needs to be made on the machine running Post Office/Scheduler.

Applicable Versions:

3.1, 3.2.

Changing ports in version 4.0+ is no longer supported due to required changes needed to stay within the standard email protocols.
